Privacy

This policy describes how Tiny Desk Band (tinydeskband.com) handles information when you use the Outstanding Tiny Desk AI product. Contact hello@tinydeskband.com for privacy questions, access, or deletion requests.

Who we are

Tiny Desk Band is an independent fan-made AI video tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, or any named artist or band. We do not claim to be official.

Information we collect

If you sign in with Google we store the account name, email, and profile image returned by that sign-in. When you upload photos we store draft photo keys in object storage (R2) so the generation job can run. We store generation job records and Stripe payment records needed to add the credits you buy to your account. Session cookies keep you signed in.

Photos you upload are used only to generate a 15-second, 720p, 9:16 band video with sound. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Photos are deleted within 24 hours. Finished videos stay in your library for 30 days, then are removed. Account and payment records stay as long as needed to operate packs, handle refunds, and meet bookkeeping duties.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people open, whether they sign in, upload photos, generate a video, start checkout, or download a result. Google may set first-party cookies named_ga and _ga_*. We do not send your photos, videos, email address, name, or payment identifiers to Google Analytics. Event parameters are limited to things like mode, file type, and pack id.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are treated as having analytics storage denied until a cookie banner is offered. The photo-processing checkbox in the studio is separate from analytics cookies and is not sent to Google.

Processors

Payment is processed by Stripe. Sign-in is processed by Google. Usage analytics are processed by Google Analytics 4. Video generation is sent to the kie.ai job shell used by this site. Those providers see only what is required to run that step.

Your requests

Email hello@tinydeskband.com to ask for a copy of the account data we hold or to delete your account. We may keep payment records required for refunds or tax rules. See the Refund page for unused-pack and failed-run rules.

Children

This product is not for children. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18. Do not create an account if you are under 18.
